Special Announcements
Rise and shine skiers and riders of Crested Butte Mountain Resort on this last Friday in February, the 27th day of 2015, where we see the beginning of one heck of a storm system that caused 3 inches of new snow to fall last night and is anticipated to drop over a foot of fresh powder on us by Saturday evening! I can’t imagine a better place to be to celebrate than carving down all 93 trails currently available, 63 of which have been shaped up to the best corduroy you’ll find in Colorado. Mountain Ops has worked hard to prepare 14 lifts that are ready and waiting to lay you down on the 938 acres of stupendous terrain blanketed in a soft 49 inch base thanks to the foot and a half of pow that has fallen in the past 7 days. If the best groomed turns on the hill are what you seek, then look no further than Paradise Bowl, our groomer’s top pick run of the day.

Announcements
More apres ski fun is to be had at the Butte 66 as, once again, Chuck Grossman will be on hand dishing out some live tunes to entertain your ear drums! Grab and drink, grab some friends, and enjoy some great blues, bluegrass, funk, folk, rock, swing, jazz, and classical music! Chuck goes on at 3pm today.

Enjoy a unique dining experience with a Ulye’s Sleighride Dinner! Take an unforgettable ride in an open sleigh pulled by a snow cat up to a cabin nestled in the woods and prepare to have your taste buds tantalized with a crafty menu of Colorado cuisine with French influences.  After dinner, bundle up for the sleigh ride back down to the base area.  Advanced reservations are required and dinners are offered Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.  Call 1-970-349-4554 to book your Uley’s Sleighride Dinner this week!

With flat light lens in hand, I’m headed out to enjoy another amazing day on the slopes! Hope to see you all on the hill with your dancing shoes!
