Special Announcements
Welcome to the start of another spectacular weekend here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort on this blue bird Friday, the 6th day of March! Super sunny skies, temps in the 30’s, and amazingly soft snow are the perfect reasons to grab the gear and head to the slopes where you’ll find powder at every turn on all 978 acres of stupendous terrain currently covered in a 62 inch base. The 5 feet of fresh pow that was dumped on us in the past 13 days will ensure good times on all 94 trails now open, 58 of which have been shaped up to Colorado’s Best Corduroy by our professional grooming staff who have issued word that Bushwacker is packing the best groomed turns on the hill.

Enjoy Free live music during après ski from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. at Butte 66 from Chuck Grossman, whose genres include blues, bluegrass, funk, folk, rock, swing, jazz and classical; adding his own flavor for some great entertainment.

Ever wonder how that perfect corduroy is made? Now you can experience the thrill of operating a snowcat, a 5 ton machine, and learn to move snow like a pro under the instruction of one of Crested Butte’s finest groomers. Includes shuttle to the site, operational instruction and live drive time.  Available daily by appointment. Call 970.349.4554 or stop by the Mountain Concierge in the Adventure Center.

Time to head out to enjoy another beautiful weekend in paradise. Hope to see you all on the hill!
