Greeting from your Snow Betty on Saturday, December 10th 2011. With a high of 33*F today and 4 inches of snow in the last 7 days it is going to be sunny and wonderful on the hill. We have lots of exciting new openings today including the Silver Queen lift and access to our frontside runs such as Lower North Star, Windy Gap, Triangle, Silver Queen Road, Upper and Lower International. We now have access to 200 acres of groomed terrain and 317 acres of open skiable terrain. We have 50% of our beginner and intermediate terrain open and 51% of our advanced terrain now open. There are 46 trails open accessible by our 6 open lifts with 24 groomed trails.
The new Paradise Warming House Bar and Outdoor Grill will be open today from 11am to 3pm and Uley's Ice Bar will be open for lunch from 11am to 2:30pm with the bar open until 3:30pm so stop in to warm your tootsies and to get a bite to eat! Also, the Liberty Demo Van will be in front of the Elevation Hotel today so swing by and test a pair of this season's new Liberty skis. Later, in Butte 66 Liberty Skis and Coors are sponsoring a happy hour from 3-6 with a drawing to win a pair of Liberty skis at 6pm. Armada will also have demos available in front of the Colorado Freeskier throughout the day so get some new sticks under you and take some sweet turns!
