Rise and shine to another superb day on the slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort! On this Wednesday, the 18th day in March of 2015, you can expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid 40’s, making it a wonderfully, comfortable day to glissade down any of the 94 trails that are open, spread across 978 acres. The groomers have worked diligently throughout the night, creating Colorado’s best corduroy on 53 of those trails and recommend International as their groomer’s choice of the day!

While you’re out and about the mountain today, why not be wowed as you take a peek at some of the athletes who will be working hard to qualify for the Freeride World Tour, happening in Crested Butte. Athletes will be picking their lines in parts of the extremes, so beware as some extreme terrain will be closed due to the competition. What better way to enjoy spring in the mountains than with some skiing, sun and of course, live music! Skitown Breakdown, presented by Volvo, will be bringing some incredible live music by Just How at 3:30 pm, followed by Brad Corrigan at 4:30 pm and Switchfoot will be finishing things off at 6:00 pm. All this talent will be going on this Saturday, March 21st at the Adventure Center Tent. Tickets are $15 and can be bought at the Adventure Center or online. Make your way to Crested Butte Mountain Resort this weekend, for some serious fun in this sun! Paradise awaits you here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort!
