Come enjoy the best views on the mountain! The Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks is located at the top of Painter Boy lift. Serving hot soups, sausages, paninis, sandwiches, cold beer, and more all with a Bavarian theme. Open Daily 10:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. If you are in need of a break from shredding down the mountain, check out Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s snowshoe tours. This is a unique way to experience the majestic surroundings of the valley. Tours explore areas of the mountain where few skiers go. Participants learn about the history of the area and qualities of the local ecosystem. Tours last about two and a half hours and include a guide, snowshoes, poles, a lift ride, water, and a light snack. Tours leave at 12:30 p.m. daily. For more information and reservations stop by the Mountain Concierge desk in the Adventure Center or call 970.349.4554. This sounds like a great way to stay warm today!

It’s not even January and this mountain has never looked so good! Today, December 28th, 2015, Crested Butte Mountain resort is reporting a 59 inch base, yep that’s right people, 59 inches! It’s going to be a chilly, but beautiful day in CB today so bundle up and hit the slopes! We have 13 chairlifts ready to get you and your gear to 77 trails. The cat drivers stayed up late just to bring you 67 groomed trails and they noted that Bushwacker will be better than all the rest! If groomers aren’t your cup of tea, find yourself some freshies from this past storm that dumped nearly 3 feet on us, on any of our 570 skiable acres!
