The fun continues here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort on this super sunny Fat Tuesday, February 9, 2016! You’ll want to make sure to grab the sunscreen and be prepared to shed the layers to show off those beads, as our anticipated high temp for the day is a toasty 30 degrees. The skiing and riding will be their best as we have beautiful blue bird skies and a nice soft 58 inch base blanketing all 1,051 acres of diverse terrain now open. With 111 snow filled trails to choose from and 15 lifts ready to escort you there with the greatest of ease, you’re sure to find lap after lap of thrills no matter which way you go! If the smoothest groomed turns on the hill are what you dream of, then our professional grooming staff have worked hard to ensure 300 fantastically groomed acres are available your skiing or riding pleasure with Lower Treasury being their choice run of the day.

Kick off your Mardi Gras celebration at the Butte 66 with all day food and drink specials as well as live music by Scotty Leith. Drink specials are $3 Buds, $7 New Orleans Hurricanes, and $5 shot/beer combo with Beam and a Rolling Rock. The food special is a $16.99 Crawfish Boil. Continue the Mardi Gras celebration by heading to town for the annual Mardi Gras Parade down Elk Avenue. Parade starts at 5:30 and Bubba will be there handing out beads!

Want to meet some new women ski buddies? Join the new Women’s Tips on Tuesdays clinic. Come ski with like-minded women to get some ski tips, followed by tipping a glass of wine at our new Umbrella Bar.  This is a women’s specific Ski School session, which is guided by our top women professionals.  Sessions will go from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and will conclude with an après ski glass of wine, or non-alcoholic beverage, which is included in the session price of $65.  This product is for skiing levels 3-7 and is designed to be specific for women wanting guides, instruction, and a great skiing atmosphere.  Please call (970) 349-2211 or go to the Adventure Center ticket office to sign up today.
