It's another gorgeous day to be tearing up the hill! This is Powder Hound reporting from Crested Butte Mountain Resort with all the information you need to make this Friday, November 23, 2012 one for the books. With an 18" base and 59 acres of of Colorado's Best Corduroy waiting to be ripped up, it's time to grab the gear and head out the door. Hop on any one of the 4 lifts we have spinning for you to enjoy the 8 trails of beginner and intermediate terrain we have to offer. While you are out soaking in this bluebird day, head over to check out Houston, our groomer's choice run.
Stop by Butte 66 for some fine American cuisine including burgers and shakes! Grab an apres ski brew and kick back on the expansive deck to enjoy some amazing slope-side mountain views. Or check out the twilight dinners for a fabulous evening out. The Butte 66 opens daily at 11 AM in the Treasury building. Call 970-349-2999 for more information.
Looking for a one of a kind mountain adventure? Stop on over to the Zipline Tour where you'll find 5 ziplines ranging in length from 200-300 feet connected by several unique features such as suspended wood bridges and towering platforms. The zipline tour is an amazing two hour experience! For reservations go to the Adventure Center or call 970-349-2211. This is one excursion you will not want to miss.
