Happy Happy Thursday on December 20th 2012 from your very own Snow Fairy here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! We have had a wonderful week of snow fall here blessing us with 6 inches in the last 24 hours, 12 inches in the last 48 hours and 32 inches in the last 7 days. If that's not reason enough to get up on the hill today, I just do not know what is. With a beautiful, sunny day today and a high of 24*F it is going to be a perfect day to enjoy the 39 trails open and 31 of the groomed trails. With a total of 46 inches of snow at our base and 7 of our lifts spinning for your ease and enjoyment, there is 45% of our beginner and intermediate terrain open and 1% of our advanced terrain open today and our Groomer's Choice is Upper Ruby Chief. Our Groomers have been working endlessly to open more terrain and more lifts in the next few days. Ruby Road with Upper Keystone and Jokerville opens today and the Silver Queen lift with access to additional terrain will open tomorrow. Prospect lift is scheduled to open Saturday and East River lift will open Sunday with access to some of our advanced terrain.
