Good morning from Crested Butte Mountain Resort! Today is going to be a beautiful day to head out to the slopes! Thanks to the over 300” of snow that we’ve received this season, our mountain is 100% open and covered with an 87” base. Be sure to lather up with some sun screen today as it is supposed to be another quintessential Colorado bluebird day with a high in the mid-30’s! Take advantage of the sunshine and head over to the Umbrella Bar at Ten Peaks for panoramic views, tasty grill items and some live music. Ten Peaks is conveniently located at the top of the Painter Boy Lift, creating more of a gathering spot than a grab-and-go outlet. There is no better spot to soak in the Colorado rays than up at Ten Peaks. If you’re looking for a unique après experience, look no further than Colorado Crafted! Once you wrap up your day on the slopes, enjoy a craft tasting that features the best breweries, distilleries and local fare that Colorado has to offer! Held from 2 – 6 pm this afternoon, you will enjoy delicious beverages, and tasty treats slope side with views of the Elk Mountains, live music and the company of your friends! Tickets are required and can be purchased at the event if still available. It is spring time in Crested Butte, so come out and enjoy all of the good snow and happenings around the resort!
