Snow totals are going up as they are calling for a 70% chance for 5 more inches today here at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. This is Powder Hound with nose to the wind, sniffing out a snow report sure to get you out the door this Saturday, February 9, 2013. A dusting overnight, 1 inch in the last 7 days, the High Lift cranking, and more snow to fall as the day continues are only a few reasons to grab the gear and hit the hill! Our base measures in at 33 inches this morning and we now have 862 acres of terrain offered up with 316 of that in the extreme riding category! 13 lifts are cranking to drop you down on 87 awesome trails, 50 of which are groomed in our finest corduroy. 95% of the mountain is open with 100% of the beginner, intermediate, and advanced territory accessible and 58% of the extreme landscape ready and waiting! Our highs today will hover right around 20*F and you can expect good times to be had down Paradise Bowl, our groomers choice today! Once Miss Silver Queen has been rightfully crowned, stay for the after party where Triple L will be spinning up some tunes to groove to and 2 for 1 drink specials will be offered for the ladies in the crowd!
